Last Summer in Japan
Here is the movie that was made for a class presentation.
It is made like a trailer of a movie. And the summary is as follows:
This trailer is a satirical and whimsical attempt to raise awareness about the intersection of self, identify and society in one’s experience of life in Japan. It is particularly relevant to international students and residents undertaking an exploration of the ‘new’ popular culture they have found them self to be a part of, and of a society largely governed by it. Popular culture is not limited to anime, manga and mascots but social norms, behaviors, orders and values – negotiating which can become an additional challenge in the journey to adulthood.
I hope you enjoy it!
