Tokyo Univ. Symposium Participation
Varun Khanna of our Human Sciences International Program was among 15 selected students from over 500 applicants from all over the globe to be awarded the title of ‘University of Tokyo Global Ambassador’. He was invited for the Global Faculty Development Symposium at Tokyo University where he participated in workshops, discussions and gave a talk on the topic “Career Struggles: English-Medium Programs and Employability of the New Global Graduates”.
The purpose of the event was to create a common vision for the future of higher education and a ‘global’ faculty. The event at Tokyo saw the participation of many academics, young scholars and key figures from all over Japan and beyond who are involved in higher education or internationalization.
